China National Electric Equipment Corporation (CNEEC) of the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry is a state-owned enterprise with independent legal corporate status. It is an economic entity bearing its own financial responsibility. It deals mainly with complete plant contracting.

There are 650 employees in CNEEC’s headquarters, of which 80% are engineering and technical personnel including 150 senior engineers.

CNEEC’s scope of business focuses on the engineering design, construction supervision, equipment supply and technical services for engineering projects, both at home and abroad, relating to power stations and substations, transmission lines, machinery works, and lighting, heating, distribution and driving systems for enterprises of metallurgy, oil, coal, chemical, transportation and other industries, as well as civil and municipal projects, CNEEC also engages in supply of industrial boilers, industrial steam turbines, HV & LV electric apparatus, transformers, electric machines, electric cables & wires, electric porcelain, insulating materials, batteries, welding machines and materials, special equipment, household appliances, electric tools, etc., in complete sets or as single units for a total of 35 categories and nearly 13000 varieties.

With a design and research institute at state level A, CNEEC provides customers with feasibility study, technical consultation, project planning and engineering design.

CNEEC undertakes developing special equipment, introducing advanced technology, importing single or complete equipment as well as organizing technical exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises.

So far, CNEEC has completed hundreds of plant projects at home and abroad, imported dozens of key technology and over a thousand units of equipment.
