CNEEC is able to provide hydro-power generating equipment with capacity of 0.024-320 MW, in complete sets or single units, including various types of turbines for water heads of 2-700m, generators, governors, valves, automatic control systems, transmission equipment, switch plants and steel structures. CNEEC’s activities include the provision of the following services according to customer’s requirements, i.e., the model test and acceptance test of turbine runners, engineering design, technical consultation, equipment supply, installation and commissioning, personnel training and turn-key projects.

To exploit China’s hydraulic resources, CNEEC has participated in supply and services of dozens of large and medium hydro-power stations, such as the Gezhouba, Shuikou and Dongfend stations and the preliminary work for the three Gorges Station as well. It has provided more than 20 countries with hydro-power equipment in complete sets or single units, which are highly commended upon their good quality.

For small and medium hydro-power stations, CNEEC is capable of supplying a wide range of seriated and standardized equipment or special one designed to meet particular requirements by customers, such as Francis, Kaplan, Nagler, Pelton and Turgo units and mini-solid-assembled sets. Many types of hydro-electric sets can be either vertical or horizontal, can work at frequency of either 50 or 60 Hz, and can be equipped with either mechanical- or electro-Hydraulic governors, and different exciters and control systems.
